Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows the diameter of the strut (where it bolts into the hub) for a Ford sierra rwd gt hatch? I'm under the impression that the 4x4 ones are different to standard and I've potentially got some new front struts sorted but need the measurement to make sure they'll fit.
Cheers all
Alex

2wd are about 5 inches and 4wd are about 7 inches IRC.
If you want to run 4x4 struts in a 2wd car, easiest way is to use Mk3/4 Granada/Scorpio hubs, although they are also 5x112 PCD, not 4x108, although you can change that if you want to pull them apart. Frogeye Scorpio hubs are 4x108, but no good for Sierra owners as they are even bigger strut diameter.

They are 50mm dia same as cosworth or xr 4x4 hubs. I think they are 40mm or 45mm on standard cars.
