hello basically put a new front windscreen rubber in my corsair and its not a bad fit but obviously not the best, and on just 1 corner it ever so slightly leaks , and I want to stop this well in it tracks so obviously I need to insert some sealant in it, now it has to be a black sealant so either tiger seal or sikaflex 291 which of these would you recomend from your own personal experiances? chers hope this will help othrs too as I know I cant be the only one with a iffy seal

Sikaflex is loads better than tigerseal however if you ever intend of removing it in the future don't use it. Use proper non setting screen seal stuff. See your local mobile windscreen bloke and buy it off him... Si

Never found much difference between Tiger seal and Sikaflex, personally. Both are fine for BONDING screens in, but it sounds like you need to seal the screen, as above, you can get non setting screen sealant which works well. Don't be tempted by silicone, causes problems if you ever nee to paint the car and doesn't last very long either.

Gav, in relation to the filler strip tool, and sealer etc... Run round the screen pumping non setting seale round it, first glass to rubber, then rubber to body. Then squirt up the rubber, and when you put the filler strip in, it squeezes the excess sealer out. The sealer you need, non setting, is called ARBOMAST Can send you half a used tube iv'e got (fits in a skeleton gun)
