SAAB 9-3S 2.0i Convertible 1999 T plate.
MOT until 29th March 2012
Tax until the end of November 2011.
106k on the clock, eight SAAB main dealer stamps in the service book up to 90k, one local garage stamp at 102k.
Last mot'd at 104k with no advisories, exhaust replaced for the MOT.
Very clean inside with grey leather in excellent condition, SID fully functional.
Bodywork is in excellent condition no rust showing, no nasty scuffs, scrapes or bad scratches. There are a couple of stone chips, some small light scratches and a couple of small supermarket battle scars.
I have just replaced the battery.
It is sat on steel wheels with SAAB trims with four matching Firestone tyres all of which have a minimum of 4mm of tread.
The hood is in excellent condition no rips, fraying or scuffs.
I was going to list this car for £1k - £1.2k however the roof is currently not working after being parked up for two months, it was working prior to being parked up.
I have no idea what is wrong with the roof, it starts to open then stops and the SID displays 'Roof failure'.
A roof hydraulic cylinder was replaced last year (receipt from Lincoln Saab for £305).
It could be a cheap fix I do not know, if it is someone is getting a cheap vert.
Everything else is working fine, windows, mirrors CD player etc...
Car is located Nettleham near Lincoln.
Asking price is £675 but open to reasonable offers for a quick sale.
I might be willing to swap for something retro. Swaps must have comparable MOT, please note I have no cash to add!!!!! Otherwise I would be getting the roof repaired and listing the car for sale for a good bit more.
