minor!..got exhaust done for $120..win!..and thanks guys for the advice-comments above...the spacer-spring idea is a lot less complicated than I thought..all other parts in the post..gonna go get some rattle cans now..

thanks DC..ive got a battery issue now...so either a duff newish battery..or alternator..fortunately we've got a bent Ford Frogface outside the house..ill charge battery on that and see if i can hold power on MERCI..otherwise..damn alternator perhaps..
