Heres my 1998 VW polo, painted satin black and with the 1.4 8v engine.
The car runs and drives great and passed its MOT last week with no advisory's and had some new rear brake lines fitted, brakes bled, 4 new tyres a month before and will be getting a good clean inside and out before its bought and has also had a new OSF wishbone, rear bushings, flushed the cooling system since i bought it. new cambelt and valves/ head gasket fitted at 100000 and new aero wipers before the MOT.
The car has been lowered on adjustable coilovers, new exhaust fitted (cat back) and a new intake fitted as well so it all runs well and gets about 40Mpg on my run to work which it did every day and didn't miss a beat. It also has a valver back bumper and wheels fitted .
Bad bits:
The roof is still blue, but a dark blue so its not that noticeable, wouldn't cost much to be vinyl wrapped or painted but it didn't bother me.
Wheels are a bit scuffed as the paint hadn't quite set when we fitted the tyres! I will however chuck in a tin of white paint which should sort them out no bother
Stereo needs a connector that you can get from halfords for about £6
Ill also give the lucky new owner a Haynes manual for it and an intake manifold that i made to use bike carbs/ ITB's on but never got round to trying and any other spares that i have for it
I'm looking for £850 ONO seeing as its less than what i paid for the car originally and its got about £400 of parts on it.
