I have a strange request, I'm asking information on long coilover units to potentially use on a RWD E30 based off roading project. Can you suggest off the shelf coilover units that have a long length, and even better if you could throw up some measurements that would be even better
I haven't seen any in real life, but whenever I see early Golf coilovers in for sale ads/ebay the rear coilovers always look really long.
These look interesting but the longest length is only 46cm, I'm not sure if that's much longer than a standard E30 shock!

For the front I would retain the existing struts and shocks. I'd use coilover conversion kits and sling the longest coilover springs in there I could find! To gain more height/clearance I'd be thinking about lowering the front turrets and front subframe points.
