2000 X Ford Escort 1.6 Zetec Flight Estate. 1 Previous owner, 119k, New Timing Belt, Clutch, Exhaust. Bit of grot around the back arches and rear wiper, but nothing major. I'm beginning to want to scrap my matiz. Too many people want a car that's "nearer" or with tax. Well look local then! so annoying, especially when they want you to MOT it just for them!

Sadly yes, wasn't a bad car. but couldn't refuse a OH HAI £200 KOLLEKT NOW offer. given no tax MOT and grumpy neighbors. |

It is pretty challenging to tax a car these days though of course.... errr yes it is now as you have to be insured!! selling a car probably means he has another so his insurance is more than likely on that one. shame but lots do it, I have weighed several because the value is so low and I can't be bothered with all the pages of what's said above so i don't even bother. |

Yeah but the buyer would have to be insured to drive it away so road tax would be a formality. Assuming everyone who buys a cheap old car is insured of course.
