My daughter has a W reg Renault Clio 1.4 Alize. It's the 16 valve with aircon.
It started losing water. Header tank. No problem, fitted a replacement. Still losing water. I found water around the thermostat housing cover. Fitted a new cover and thermostat.
Still losing water. The radiator has a bit of a weep. I ran the car the other day and waited for the electric fan to kick in. It never and the car boiled. Never mind, get another fan sensor, which I did. Trouble is, I've got no idea where it fits. It certainly doesn't bolt into the rad. I have a feeling that aircon cars have a different setup for starting the cooling fan, but I haven't got a clue. Nor has a mechanic down the road.
Can anyone help with this please? It's been sitting in my front garden for over a week now.
