I felt a quick update was required.
I decided to get off my bum and get closer to the 7 second barrier! So, after my recent actuator bodge, and making a good 8-10 PSI of boost i got moving.
Yesterday I removed the bottom of the rear seats, the spare wheel, boot carpet, and toolkit. I didnt get a chance to do anything driving wise till later today driving back from the GF's.
I managed two runs, a 7.56 and a 7.69 (both with some wheelspin) Not bad seeing as i had a full tank of petrol! Cant wait to see what he does on a whiff of petrol
I have not spent more than 500quid in total, including buying the car!! (not including new tyres all round) My next plans are to remove the rear seatbelt mechanisms, and the rest of the rear seats/carpets. Door cards may well come off too, and I'm sure i can find other stuff to rip out
That magical 7 seconds is approaching
There it is, you can see the rest of the seats/rear console that need to come out
