Right, i did a conversion on the front of the lada, i put volvo 4 pots on it, and kept the standard rear drums.
THe car has the twin cylider pedal box with balance bar.
So, recently one of my rear brake shoes broke! and the part wiped out the rear wheel cylinder. From then i had no brakes.
Reason for no brakes is the balance bar just shifted the force to the cylinder with the least resistance, and no pressure then to the front.
So i am concidering a new set up.
I'm looking at putting lada front disks on the back, and golf mkii calipers on [later upgrading to mkiv] i think this mod is quite defonate.
now as the pedal box has failed me, i was thinking of putting a mastercylinder from something like a manta on with a inline bais valve to the rear.
Will this work, and also with out the servo, will i be able to stop the car.
I think this could be a question for manta owners really.
thanks!
