1995 M reg VW Golf GTi 2.0 16v for spares or repair.
Five door in metallic black.
132k miles.
Decent alarm and immobiliser, and according to the history file, also has a tracker hidden away somewhere too, although the subscription for this expired long ago.
This car has stood for 18 months plus and is a state to match, and is therefore sold for spares or repairs, with the recommendation it be used as a donor for an ABF conversion for a Mk1 or Mk2 Golf.
The good:
Starts and runs, although no battery included.
Engine sounds sweet - gearbox fine too.
Working electric mirrors / three out of four electric windows
Loads of tread on the tyres
Massive history file
The not so good:
Has had an aborted attempt at changing the brakes - OSF caliper sitting in the boot, OSR caliper not bolted to the carrier at present.
Leaking rad - not been run dry or overheated, has only leaked since it deteriated in storage and since it's been dragged back out to be disposed of.
Grubby interior... sunroof has attempted to roll back then jammed.
I bought this to break up (there's at least £700s worth of spares here if you can be bothered to break it up), but now I'm not so sure I'll have time to do this?
A decent source of spares and as above, ideal donor for an ABF conversion.
£350, located in Kent and yes, will obviously need to be trailered away!
