Just been to pick up a friends nova rally car after it's bit of surgery on the inlet department.
The sidedraft 40 webers were swiftly binned in favour of a set of Honda fireblade carbs and a specially made manifold.
What a difference! 10 horses up on the dyno and silky smooth power all the way up the rev range with no flat spots what so ever and it just wants to rev right round with no effort at all.
Its gunna be a bit more entertaining at this years mull rally with these on and the new quafe close ratio dog box.
Just need to get some slapped on mi fiat tin can lump when i get round to it.
There were quite a few other retro motors there too,mostly sporting bike carb conversions.
