1977 Reliant Scimtar GTE with 4 speed manual overdrive.
Wolfrace slot-mags with brand new tyres...got to be worth £200 alone? MOTd until February with no advisories, Tax till Dec. Loads of receipts and old MOTs over last 15 years. Brand new battery (£80). Usual Scimitar bodywork...metallic blue paint looks great from 15 feet away but not so good up close! Interior needs sorting (as usual for Scimitars), especially the front seat facings. Full length sunroof is a bit tatty on eges but works and doesn't leak. Overdrive gearbox works as it should (3rd and 4th).
I bought this last week from a guy in Bedford but it suffered a leaking seal on the long journey home and now starts fine and runs but has a slight knock. It doesn't over heat and oil pressure if fine until hot when it drops. Sort the engine, and tidy it up and it should make a practical daily driver retro 1970s classic... I just don't have the money or time to fix.
