Hi All. Long time no write. I've been busy.
I've just sold my Merc T123 and will be weighing in the spares car I have. Its more rotten than your average MGB but there are still some useful bits on it. Free to whoever wants to remove them. The car is near Shrewsbury in Shropshire but will be going 'away' by the end of August.

What engine does it have? I'm after a carb from a 200. But I wouldn't be able to collect - I don't suppose it's already off the car by any chance?!

Side draft carb? Solex thing? if the answer is yes,It's the same as can be found on Hillman Hunters ,some triumphs,( stag I think) . Those would be cheaper than sourcing Merc parts.

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

The bonnet pull on the scrapper is a piece of wire. However, somewhere safe, I have the proper item. PM me your address and when I find it, I'll pop it in the post. Anyone else need anything? The car's days are very limited. Probably saying goodbye on Wednesday now. Jon
