Where can I buy nuts and bolts in Sheffield?

ive used Williams fasteners in tinsley industrial estate on shepcote lane, just round corner from gsf, pretty sure they have min order of £10 tho

The usual case with any fastner suppliers is that unless you go in and know exactly what you want you'll be met with, at best, indifference. Also the same applies if you go in wanting tiny amounts.

If you have no luck at williams then Try UK fixings on shepcote lane as well (nearer tinsley than gsf end) russ. Strange place but they have most stuff in.

when i used to live in that general area, the only place that were ever any use at all with obscure stuff was BAP, on wheatley hall rd (i think, more or less opposite the porsche garage on the dual carriageway bit) in doncaster. i tried pretty much every other one in rotherham/sheffield/doncaster, and all were either massively expensive, minimum order places, unhelpful or just plain rude. BAP are (were?) great though. i think they have ther branches too, so may be one closer to you?

Try shaws ironmongers opposite B&Q off queens road, there usually pretty good and know what there talkin about, go in your scruffy working gear and you will get a cheaper price aswelll!

They will sell you both metric and imperial, if your that way inclined!

Also theres a place just off dronfield bottom but I cant remember the name, there really good and will get you just about any thread you need, but it comes at a price.

Damn it....I now want some "old bean cap screws"!
