Selling my mums car as she doesnt need it anymore.
Its a 1998 Megane ph1 1.9dti RXE, has electric windows (front) electrics sunroof, aircon which still blows cold.
Its got high mileage and with this the bodywork has suffered, dents/scratches etc. the worst is surface rust on the bonnet where the paint has come away, the interior is in ok condition it has marks on the rear seats and the speaker cover on the front passanger door is missing.
Engine and gearbox are in good order, the engine uses no water but does leak a drop or 2 of oil every couple of days. Starts first time hot/cold whether you use the glowplugs or not. It had a new battery and glow plugs this january, also the cambelt/waterpump/tensioner/oil/oil filter were all changed at 170k by myself before my mum bought it (was the neighbours car) it does smoke a little bit on start up and if you floor it when its cold, once its warmed up its fine.
All tyres are legal. there is an occasional knock from the front suspension but its quite hard to hear it. the front wheels will probably need balancing as they were not done when it had new tyres for the MOT.
