As mentioned elsewhere I plan to remove the repeaters which means removing some of the turn-signal loom. How can I remove two of the lights without introducing strange behaviour, such as lights flashing too quickly ?
I could refit a bulb and hide it, or somekind of resistor in place of the bulb but ideally I'd want to remove the redudant loom.
I presume it's controlled by a relay which could be swapped out for a 4-flasher rather than 6......if that makes sense ?

I changed my side ones to led and due to them being low powered its does flash slightly quicker!

Basically you'll be removing 5W from a 47W system (5W from the 47W = 42W remaining across the relay = not a massive loss and the relay will only speed up a little)
This will mean a very slight increase in the rate of the flash but nowhere near as drastic as removing one of the main indicators (21W from the 47W = 26W remaining across the relay = very fast flash)
In other words, not a problem to remove the repeaters and the wiring completely.
