Nothing controversial about that in my book Have a search for "class 11 baja". They still desert race full bodied beetles in limited classes in the US / mexico. Very popular as much cheaper than building a buggy. Lifted is the new stanced  |

Absolutely love trials. I remember when they used to show them on the tv, about 15 years ago, must have been bbc2 or itv... whatever happened to that?

Looks Brilliant fun, Ive always fancied a go in one of these.Or is that just a bit stooopid!?  Anyone familiar with the regulations to do with modifications?particularly the running gear?Can you make it more powerful, and add a LSD, or weld diff etc? |

Have done a fair few trials myself. Building a mk1 golf atm for them. Regs are quite simple. No LSDs or welded diffs. Engine modifications are free providing you use the original block. Summer tyres only. The way to get grip is let your tyres down and stick a load of lead over the driven wheels.
