Where was this R30 Skyline sold? Steve Lack's car... you seen it? Silver one with US spec 280ZX turbo alloys on it. I'm pretty sure he lives down in the south east somewhere. He didn't advertise it ..it was just word of mouth. Unfortunately, I didn't get the word until it was too late This is the car...

I certainly am. Wish I had an R30, the most intimidating Skyline in my opinion. You really don't want to be told this but you missed your chance about three weeks ago. The one and only 2000RS in the UK changed hands for a measly £1300 Yeah, I missed out on it by a few days too. Gutted £1300?! Crikey, if he'd stuck it on the Bay I would have been surprised if it didn't break £3000. R30s in Japan are reaching really good low prices last time I checked, perhaps it is time to import....!

^^^ Totally agreed on the blandness front, at least from the C210 onwards. My R30 was a perfect case in point.

The new Skyline saloon looks like an Audi with funny headlamps.

skylines have always been bland J sallons. the coupe versions, gtrs, just the halo models... we never saw any of them imported but look what Ken Noshiwishijapnamey is doing in the D1 Drift in a ER34 I'm seriously considering a future 34 skyline with 4 doors as opposed to a coupe gtr i don't know if its a good move, certainly the skyline name has involved to mean a gtr over here and although we may never see the infiniti g35 (new skyline coupe) or the GTR (new skyline GTR replacement) it wont be a loss really. with those two and the similar 350 they will flood their own niche. stupid really.
