toe in the water time:
am thinking of selling my 92' honda concerto...its a 1.5gli with dual point injection (2 injectors in a throttle body), manual
I bought it from a car dealer in Tiverton, devon, who basically didnt know what to do with it when it was traded in.....that was May and ive put nearly 4000 miles on with very little bother at some good speeds and averageing 37 mpg (40 plus on a run at 70mph)
MOT is first week feb 2012...will need a tyre...i cant see anything else to be honest and I used to be a honda techie
TAX till end of the year
the speedo says 73k and thats believed genuine, the old guy who had the car before and traded it in couldnt find the service wallet but ad owned it over 10yrs n apparently spent good money.
its in a dark metallic blue which really suits it....its cheap tax cos its under 1500cc and gets classic insurance....so very practical
body is super solid....NO bubbly rust, NO stonechips, NEVER WELDED.....and cant see it needing any soon....honda option waxoyeled when new (extra grommets in doors etc)
alloy wheels, tidy interior, factory option bootliner
bad bits:
lacquer peel on bonnet and a few small patches on door...20yrs of bums on the seats but no rips or fag burns
will need a tyre for mot (spare is original dunlop sp but on a steel)
only mod from stock is to airbox, goes really well after a few holes drilled and a cold air feed sorted
Looking for 400 quid or swap for an estate or bigger hatch with tax n test
somerset area of uk....pm...pics later
