Been thinking about possibilities. The "modern" Transit runs with the same or similar diesel lumps that are fited to Mondeos? I believe that some Transit models run these lumps in RWD form? Is it possible to take a Mondeo diesel lump that can kick out around 150BHP and bolt the RWD transit box to it? Anybody done it, had experience of it? Just an idea, like...

Possible to do but also a right bum ache. In fwd form these engines drive their fuel pumps and pas from the gearbox end of the camshaft. To turn one around you'd have to relocate everything. Much easier to start with a rwd transit engine and box instead.
