Been having trouble this year with getting the carbs (twin 45's) to idle nicely, mixture screws didn't seem to have the required effect so today I've taken them off to have a look.
I'm thinking this might be the problem but would like another opinion and suggestions on how/if it can be sorted......
The holes where the mixture screws come through after the butterfly are damaged (probably me over tightening the screws at some point.......
Not the best pictures i'm afraid but basically several of the holes have been splayed open slightly, one of them showing a few cracks.
Any suggestions on a fix - solder up the hole and carefully drill out? I guess it's tapered on the other side so not that easy to do?
