I'm getting a whine from pass front wheel when driving. I've put it on stands and run it and there is a god awful noise from gearbox, i also noticed drivers wheel not turning until it's revved. any ideas whats buggered? is it a new gearbox i need?  Oh yeah its a 1993 b3 1.6td passat. |

it don't have lsd so will only turn 1 wheel unless they both have same contact with floor, you sure it aint a cv or wheel bearing?,.
