I'm working on a 1977 Rover 3500 - one of the earliest - and trying to work out the correct routing for the fuel line.
It's coming up from the transmission tunnel to the LH bank of cylinders, where it's been cable-tied to the engine lifting eye, then there's a rigid plastic pipe going to the fuel filter below the LHD carb - that then has a banjo? connector to the carb supplies.
It looks to me like there should be a bracket on the carb to support the inlet side of the filter; there's a plate, with two holes, which I'd expect to have a U-shaped or similar thing to support the union. And then what? What's supporting the fuel line coming from under the car, and what's the arrangement of the fuel line along the rocker cover to the supply?
Does anyone have pictures of the correct arrangement, or anything from a workshop manual? I'm pretty sure that it's causing a slight fuel leak.
