In response to REVOLUTION#9's suggestion of a bike engined Whizz-kid, has anybody seen any other interesting bike engine conversions? Saw this at Avon Park in July....had an R1 Yamaha engine, you can just see the subtle differences to the grille, altho' it has a massive sequential shifter inside.

that escort looks awesome! My mates old man has an Imp powered by an old Yam Exup tho engine which he uses for hillclimbs. Thats one silly fast car, and he built it all himself!

The Imp sounds well cool!
The Isetta lends it's self to the bike conversion well, wasn't it a Steyr and Puch 250cc engine that was in those anyway, driving the back wheel (or wheels on the 4 wheel model) by chain, so just sticking a bike engine/transmission in it's place should be relatively straightforward.

There was a picture of an Imp engined motorbike with a sidecar on that done a lot of racing in the '70s in the Imp Club's monthly magazine. I must scan the article in and show you all it.
I think it was in the Imp Club's magazine anyway, but I can't find the bloody thing!
