1996 BMW 735I MOT NOV 2011 TAX DECEMBER 2011 Full Leather Full Electrics Rare Turbine Wheel in near mint condition 160k on clock engine was changed 60k ago I was told by previous owner but no evidence but engine has no smoke and pulls perfect. Now Bad Bits The gearbox is in safe mode The rear door has a large dent in it and a dent in the arch also the car was hit buy someone and never left a note, I have not claimed the insurance, the gearbox has only been in safe mode since then so might be something silly the car has a private plate p81 rum on it I WILL ONLY LEAVE THIS ON THE CAR IF FULL ASKING PRICE IS PAID OTHERWISE IT WILL BE REMOVED. Tried the reset on it??
1,turn the key position to 2 clicks ( when all the dash lights come on )
2,push all the way down on the accel. pedal for 30 seconds
3,let go of the accel. pedal and then step on the brake and hold down
4,while foot is still on the brakes ...start the car from key position 2
Hopefully...

i will try that and let you know,
its in 4th gear in safe mode, so once your above 25 mph think max is about 75 you can go

gearbox ok when 1st started but after 2 mins of driving sometimes more it goes into safe mode

i had a 7 series it did the same oil change it was fine i know bmw say its for life but it did work

yeah ive changed fluid before on them, bmw talk alot of sh1t. if i had the time and less cars i would break it of fire another box in her i just don't lol.

a friend of mine says if u take the battery off for 24 hours it does a hard reset of everything , shame your so far away might have a look see what train costs are and pm you an offer
