Hello again.
Another question.
I am just about to fit bike carbs to the Skoda. I have the carbs (pre-jetted to this engine (hopefully)) and a premade intake manifold.
The manifold has vacuum takeoff from cylinders 1 and 4.
Should I use one for the brace servo and the other for the dizzy, or should I weld take offs onto 2 & 3, fit a set of balance pipes and have the brace servo and dizzy drawing vacuum from all four cylinders.
On a side note, I am slightly concerned that if I had a vac leak into just one of the cylinders, I might not notice, it might lean out and do some damage?
What are the likely risks and problems? Am I best taking vac off all four to be on the safe side all round?
I do have pics of the manifold if needed.
