I have a bmw 325 rad which has been holed by a wayward fan - it's brand new and i'm too tight to buy another one - anyone localish who could skillfully inject some new metal into the holes (half a dozen) for a (hopefully smallish) fee?

Plastic or metal end tanks?
Take it to a radiator shop, they could drop off the tanks and solder up the offending tubes
Thats what i used to do

plastic end tanks - I'm struggling with the two shops i've used before one now only does commercial and the other is never open - so no idea whats going on there!

On a 325i, I would be tempted to just change it and put it down to experience.

Try Heanor Radiator Services 01773 718734 .I've had all good dealings ,repairs ,recore and custom jobs . NG16 4AD Spooky as I've been trying to get hold of him for a while, just tried again and bingo (i didn't know they only work until 2pm now!) so having it dropped off there today hopefully. |

There's a small radiator place in Mickleover. I think it's called Kelly's.
