Define cool. Use photographs in your answer. You may wish to consider the following: choice of car, reasons for choice, background to car, why the whole thing epitomises "cool." Here is my current choice. An aluminium-bodied Kirkham . This one is effortlessly stylish, basquing in naked aluminium alloy glory, beautifully polished to a mirror shine. It languishes casually in a side street in Washington state, menacing other cars. ;D With it's fly screen, it looks like a genuine race track refugee - a look I love. Cobras, real or replica, rock. Their performance is legenedary - literally. They look stunning and have real presence, I reckon. Some replicas and even some AC Mk. IVs have tart's boudoir interiors, with magnolia hide and tan carpets... Yeuch! It's got to be black leather, nicely patinated, and a Moto Lita wheel. ;D Enjoy. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I'm

I'm not going to reply to this with a car but with a bike. Not because there arent any cool cars, but because there are too many. Picture this. It's 1969 and along comes a motorcycle with a smooth and reliable[1] in-line 4 that can do 120MPH, doesnt leak oil and doesnt need an engine rebuild every time you crack a ton. The Honda SOHC CB750/4. Elvis has finally left the building. Nowadays it doesnt look like much but back then for motorcyclists used to British twins stuck in an era 20 years previously it must have been truly awesome. Coolest bike ever, todays 4 cylinder sportsbikes are all in its lengthy shadow. [1]if you ignore the rattly camchains, that is.

I think that the outrageous Lamborghini Espada is the coolest car on the planet! I think the wtf is that value of the Espada is coolness in itself and also the complete 60s Sci-Fi styling of them is fantastic too! Ive only ever seen one on the road and it drew so much attention it was unreal (and I live in an area where everyone seems to drive a Ferrari or Porsche)

I'm not ashamed by the fact that The Italian Job is one of my favourite films and one car which appears in that film has been an understated favourite of mine for years. I thought it was cool even before I knew what cool was! The Fiat Dino coupe. Its the only Dino that I think is elegant in its styling. Everything flows nicely, especilally in a dark colour. I love the interior, classic italian choice of materials. Cool to me is understated elegance, poise and performance, which is why I love the Dino.

That does it for me. Why is it cool you ask? 120bhp, 2.0 supercharged engine powering the front wheels in a unique and endeering Italian way. Silver metalic paint, quad head lamps, front spoiler, internal rear louvre so's not to upset the aero dynamics and enough room to not be inpractical. I'm sorry but it's all there. It's got the looks, the performance and the status to be a rather unique, rather special, and rather 'cool' coupe that will indefinately stand out from the crowd and bring a smile to your face. It manages with ease to totally emcompass all of the things that made the 80s great while still not being too dated. It is fair to say, in my opinion, that it doesn't get much better than this. **For those interested** The car pictured above was my dad's. He owned it from about 1986 till 1989 I believe. He took the phtos on the way upto Scotland. He has many stories to tell of the good times with that car; the one I always remember him telling was when he left Berwick at 7pm and arrived in Hutton Henry (a village just outside of Hartlepool) for 8pm when the quiz started at the local! Thats a journey that normally takes 2 hours maybe? He says that he only dropped below 100mph to go through the Tyne tunnel. A stark reminder of the qualiteee of the days before speed cameras. I could go on for hours about these cars, but I will stop now. Rest assured however, that this is very high on my list of dream cars - and there is a very good reason for that!

imp maniac in da house: Cobras, real or replica, rock. Their performance is legenedary - literallyThe Cobra is AWESOME, got to drive a couple of Shelby Cobras some years back, used to know a Swedish girl who was Au-Pair at the home of Caroll Shelby (before his heart transplant), the man was real nice and since I was a friend of Carina and a major "car nut" he let me take some of his gems for a drive, lovely man, awesome cars.... For me this is coooool, period.... And this rocks my world at the moment.... DP says: To be or not to be Cool, that is the question.....
