I nearly bought a Chrylser Royale once. I so wish I had done. this is what its trying to be: The one I nearly bought was a 4 door saloon. Weird cars. 1st to 2nd shift is manual but 2nd to 3rd shift is automatic!

I'm not sure how thats any worse than a satin black Audi 90 with white walls and hubcaps? Somoen posted one a while back and everybody loved it IIRC. FWIW I don't like either.

For me, it's because the PT Cruiser is such a pastiche. Whereas the Audi used some older styling cues to make something really different

Saw a PT cruiser in Cov yesterday - with a London Taxi TX1 style front end on it! No pics though

Each to their own I suppose. I may be alone in quite liking it but ploughing your own furrow is what being into modified cars is all about. Notice I'm not rushing down to my Chrysler dealer
