Evening everyone
I need to spray my bare metal golf with etch primer. I have bought 2 tins of acid etch, I have a gun and compressor but do I need to mix the primer with anything before spraying it on?

ask the supplier what they recommmed, as different paint systems use different thinners/solvents and different viscosities.

you nomally buy etch primer with the activator/thinner as a kit.
i'd have thought your supplier would have everything you need

Normally 50:50 with the correct activator, and just apply one dusty coat or it won't etch. Bang it on thick and it doesn't work. If it's the self etching high build primer, then apply as normal at the ratio indicated on the tin or advised by your paint supplier.
