Ok, so I'm trying to sort my self out a daily driver - my van got nicked and I've got a £400 budget for a crappy set of wheels to get bags of cement etc.
Check this out - Quote for 3rd part T&F on a bog standard, beaten 1999 Skoda felicia 1.3 - stated value of £400. Kept in a garage over night (yeah right, but still - that's what's on the quote). Me - policy holder, and the misses named. We've both had our licences for about 12 years, no convictions, no claims - social domestic only - no commuting.

Am I missing something? I've done all the comparrison sites and the cheapest I can find is £570. WTF is going on??? Not a happy bunny.
- The viva is fully comp with us both on it and it's £150. I don't understand when it was deemed ok to be bent over and given a damn good seeing to for car insurance?
