What a place! I would seriously recommend it to anyone who's interested in cars. I want to go and live there, it's amazing! Got loads of pics, videos and even some on-track footage filmed by my co-pilot (girlfriend!) as I was driving the famous track ;D Once I get those hosted up I will post links, pics first though... I've shrunk these down to about 480pixels to save space.

In case you are wondering who all the dodgy characters are with the Mk2 Golf's, that's the ClubGTI lot I went with...!

Great pics Stu looks like the weather was a bit nasty, scary on some of those corners no doubt. Did you take the car round the track - how did you get on? Now, most importantly, where have you put your 'Ring sticker?

Yeah, did a few laps in the wet and one in the dry - was excellent! ;D 'Ring sticker is nicely located on the back of the car on the opposite side to where the GolfGTI 16v badge is... very tasteful!

Lucky person to be able to do a few laps, the best place in the world for car loving freaks.
I went around as a passenger in an Audi RS4 with a driver who knew the place, awesome.
I want to take my Minor out there and do a few laps.
I like the way you buy a ticket from the machine and then put it in by the barrier, a bit like exiting a carpark!

Ha Ha, me & my mate were going to make Santa Pod car stickers - that just had a straight line. A kind of spoof of the 'Ring' stickers ;D Anyway, looks like you had a great time Stu. I think visiting the Nurburgring is on the 'must do list' for any car nut - i've got to get myself over there soon. Would have to take the Honda though, as driving the Ring in the Derby might be a bit dull!

Mine is just a straight line, although the one interesting feature the local one mile dragstrip (or the Greenock Esplanade, a kind of seafront thing with cafes and stuff at the end) has is the speedbumps they put up lately, which breaks ned bodykits all the time, but deters nobody!
