Got some possibilities for the Humber (much thanks to Jabbo for fetching them for me - didn't even get a cup o'tea reward as I was en-route to basingstoke and the missus had gone to asda....) ANYWAY.... What are the chances of being able to bolt either of these sets straight on? I know the pattern & centre bore are right, but haven't infestigated studs / nuts. I'm going to bosh some on kwik for wednesdays pub meet, but don't want them detaching at 65mph on the A1.... Just different enough from the obv. steels + redwalls to work.....

Those 5 spokes might look pretty cool fully polished. Not sure how they'd look on your motor though. Not that keen on the second type but then I'm not a fan of that style of rim myself. Maybe a paintshop effort is in order?

No, I think they are Mk5 XR3i jobbies. The RS ones are a bit different. Got some of those lurking somewhere too, as well as some Escort Cossie ones ;D

As long as the bolts or nuts seat properly and you get a good 8-9 turns you should be fine. And go for the 5 spokes.

Good good. They might look pap. I don't know yet. I'll do some 'trial fittings' when I get a spare few mins and bosh up some pics & a 'poll' vote If either 'work' then that is great and I shall accept my 'Official HtW Thinking Different' rosette with pride.

Possibly stating the obvious, but are the studs on the Humber metric or imperial? Editted again: My spelling is shocking this morning.

[stating the obvious]I'd guess the Escort the wheels came of would have had metric studs/bolts. If your planning on using them again it could be a problem. [/stating the obvious}
