Hello all. Here is the story of the long term project of mine. After a tour of duty to UNIFILl in Lebanon in 1994-95, i wanted a real muscle car. Luck and faith brought me to this car,. A 1973 ford mustang mach 1 , 351 cid cleveland 4v. It was broken down with a blown headgasket and left there for a while and the engine seized. In wimbeldon white and a blue blitz stripe down the side. i am looking for photos of the car in this state, hopefully i have some. This car has been with me for a long time trough rented lockups to marriage and eventually a real house and a garage finally. trough tough times and happy ones, its been with us. So its only fair it will now recive the care it deserves. during the recent years it has been welded ,painted twice and now i have bought all neccesary parts to finish of the rebuild. Trouble is that i always finds or ends up whith an other car in between while i work on the pony. audi ,porsche ,ford van,etc etc. theese cars presented elsewhere in this forum. now to the pics. i know you guys like pics. Hi there a little peek. Current state with new wheels Mandatory burnout picture meant to be the christmas card . This ended up as the years christmas card . Before second painting During paint job ,rented paint booth . My father did the painting. wetsanding between layers of blue and black details and between every layer of clear. pheeew what a job Now is the job to fit all new parts inside outside and under. interior has new recaro fully electric seats. all new carpet and details. under the car will recive all new brakes ,suspension ,shocks, lowering springs, hard busings all over,. We have a lot of twisty mountain roads over here

That looks like fun! I've been having a big yearn for some 70's muscle. that is fantastic tll sound wrong, but I love the look of it before the clear went on, sort of satin blue, and what a shape Agreed, that pic may have given me an idea...

Yes the american car culture is big in norway, and i sweden also. Mustang has been the most imported classic car to norway for years now. but they are high priced over here. Average price is around 12000£ for a driver

I found some more pics from the pre painting and during . this is from the first painting, we found after the paint cured that there was shadows and shades from the primer visible throug the thin blue colour. Bummer. Lot of covering to do when we was to spray the black trim. Had to try these wheels on. when i had the chance. chrome 17 torque thrust copies. sweet. but i went for similar in black. Like these. any one have suggestions about a christmas card idea? we had a burnout test trying to make a card. Always fun to burn some rubber.

Another norwegian on this board. good Looking very good mate, this is the last of the great mustangs, the 74 and up don't look like proper mustangs in my opinion. I've got a 66 mustang ht with a 302 sitting in my garage waiting for some love at the moment. I can't wait to get to the summer so I can start on it Yours is looking like it's in good nick. Keep up the good work. And I would like to see some pictures of the inside too.
