Had a day off today and finally got round to finishing two cars (nearly):
I finished fitting an AP brake kit to the Cossie race car and as it was insured for the day I charged round Surbiton in it after giving it a wash. No MOT or tax obviously - it's very fast! 300hp in a 1050kg car. Also very noisy outside and in - rattling, shaking, bare metal everywhere, no power brakes. Like driving a snarling beast. Now ready to go and race:

And then got the Mazda fired up and running. It's 3"lower at the front and 2" at the back. Back tyres are rubbing on the bodywork so I'll need to trim or cut some metal from inside the rear wings. Drove it round the block and it went very nicely - spongey brakes and a very low power 1.0 engine - a big contrast to the Cossie:
