can anyone recommend some one in the northwest that can media blast a grp bodyshell,my mate Dr Bob and i have found loads ,but they're all in london or the south east.what we need is a specialist that can handle a grp body shell,be it with plastic beads, soda or walnut shells,he doesnt mind as long as it doesn't damage the shell (its a one off prototype) and isn't too far away. as some compensaton some pics of the car ,before and now. before see through view now built as a lemans project (it never even raced) by Alan Fraser ,who was famous for racing imps like these and f5000 lola t42 (nicknamed the widowmaker) and a few sunbeam tigers for fun. thanks ANDY

That's got to be the best "kit car/special/non-Ford" application of CND lights EVER!!!!!

No use, I think he should just bring it round here and leave it with me. I'll give it a good home.

No use, I think he should just bring it round here and leave it with me. I'll give it a good home. i'm not sure you'd say that if you knew the full story; briefly, its done more miles in a container than it has under its own power.its been missing since 1969 and has been to canada and back.most of the front and rear suspension were specially made from scratch for this car and are now missing, along with the engine, and some of the tech spec's don't make sense.the cutaway shows an upside down imp gearbox, but it would never last the 24hrs at lemans like that, and the only way the engine can run in that position is backwards. having second thoughts?
