Just watched the original on one of the Sky movie channels, I never get bored of that film. Anyway. Does anyone know what the black interceptor policecars were? I presume they were Holdens, but I thought I'd pick your brains

Top film.

Cool, Tought it might be a ford, more than a passing resemblance to an early 70's Mustang.

But does anyone know what the Van / Camper device is in the early sequences?

Cheers! You win a retro 70's japanese car of your choice with a boot full of cold beer. But you have to come to my house to collect it within the next 20 mins. Damn, that might be a little tricky for you! Better luck next time! ;D

Oh man! right until I got to the end of that sentence I thought I'd won the best possible prize! Well, the middle wasn't that fantastic being I don't drink but the car would have more than made up for that Ahh well, I guess it's not too bad I still own one of the coolest 70's Japanese muscle cars. ;D

I'll accept the prize on his behalf! ;D (and 'forget' to send it to him!) I don't drink either but a free 240Z wouldn't be bad! The sad bit is that Max's Interceptor doesn't have a real supercharger sticking out of the bonnet, it's just a stuck on prop. Think of the performance! "Last of the V8 Interceptors! She sucks nitro!" etc etc.

mad max is one of my all time favourite films, mad max 2 is pretty good too, shame oil had run out by number 3 which is a shocking film.
