It was a great turnout considering the weather's getting a little parky. It was marred ever so slightly later on by a doughnut doing er, doughnuts in Battersea Park's car park, forcing the Park Police to turf everyone out. Great going, whoever you were... Also, it's its a shame only a hardy few actually cruise down the Kings Road like in days of old, with cars parked along the road, that used to rock.

I came down in my Tbird. The traffic on the way in was awful due to Blackfriars underpass being shut, so by the time I got to Chelsea, I just wanted to get parked up to cool me and the car down a bit. I think the park police normally close it up after dark, so doubt they came down because of the doughtnuts. Either way, it was a bit lame. Didn't go down Kings rd last night, normally I do... Was spotted by Custom Car last year as it goes. Agree though, there needs to be more of that.

I saw your car parked on the bridge later on; looked great in the metal.

Agreed more cruising needed, but the traffic over the bridge and general area was murder until about 9:30 which wont improve anytime soon whilst Albert bridge is closed Great turnout though, much better than I expected

Earlier on, on the Saturday we were driving back home and happened to follow a Bel Air back along the embankment from Beaufort Street (by Albert Bridge) all the way to Whitehall where he turned R up Horsegaurds. It looked very serious, and was rumbling and whistling away (traffic was slow, but we could hear it giving it a few beans after he turned off)... No chance to get any piccys, so I googled the reg, and it was this: Peering in the open bonnet at the lights, I wondered why the air intake went from the supercharger into the bulkhead, and then back out again: Turns out it's got a rather large intercooler where the back seats used to be Pictures shamelessly stolen from a pistonheads thread here

That Chevy is my mate Marc's. It's down to about an 8.3 sec quarter. He drives it everywhere I saw your car parked on the bridge later on; looked great in the metal. Cheers. What were you in?
