	Hi! It was the donor car for my yellow MK1....all the RS 2000 stuff was in it.So after I stripped it it parked in the corner of the workshop waiting for better days....... Looking not that bad.... ...robbing the drivetrain.... ...please,i want back on the road..... Cheers Totti

	Hi! My wife drove a 95'Mini cooper for a while(it was soo rotten ,but other story)till one day at IKEA the shopping fit not in the Mini..... ....she told me back home:I want a bigger car....but it has to be a little different.She has got a Ford Ka for daily use so i make her the offer for the Escort that waits in the workshop. Next day we have a look.....and she wants it! ;D So i startet stripping the car and look what has to be done..... Frontpanel,wings ,wheelarches are dead....but no struttops(!!),no sills,no floors,no rot on the doors. Not bad at all.... So removed the scrap wings and frontpanel Lay on the side to remove the underseal a realy stupid work.... ...puh,done Cut out the rot at the wheelarches.... More to follow...... 	Hi! Thanks for the reply's To the colour:No,my lovely wife don't like the green ....and it should be HER car. She want a kind of Petrol-blue(she shows me a shawl in that colour )......! Ok,i borrow me a colour chart at the paintshop and she make her choice. The Drivetrain has to be reliable so the OEM 1100 Xflow from my yellow Escort will find under the bonnet.For the first..... ;D In germany it's not easy to find a 1600 Xflow like in the UK. We had the 1600 not in the MK1,the biggest one here was the 1300GT.also NO Twin cam,No Mexico,NO 1600 RS BDA.....like said befor it looked like nobody like the MK1. 1600Xflow we have ONLY in the MK2 Escort.And this wasn' a big seller,too..... In the Taunus we have only Pinto's and in the Transits only V4's and Pinto's,too. So at the scrapyard there is no X-flow to find. Greet Totti
