Nissan Micra not starting

I have a Micra K11 (1992–1997) 1L automatic the problem is it won't start when it is winter time but runs fine and drive ok in the summer now i did notice that the distributor is a Nissan part so are the HT lead the car as only done 40,000 miles could this be my problem
