Fellow 'RR'er's may see this book about:
'Classics Yearbook 2006/7, by Cloud Nine ...pictorial guide to pre 1990 cars'
DON'T BUY IT! ...It's full (and I mean FULL!) of mistakes!
and before someone slaps a
label on this thread ;D please observe : -
e.g. in FORD section
ESCORT 1975-80 (MK2) ...and we have a picture of a mid 80'S ESCORT MK3!
ESCORT CABRO 1981-1986 (MK3) ...and we have a picture of a 'Hard top' ESCORT!
ZEPHER '6' ...picture of a '4'/base model!
ZODIAC ... same picture again!
...and thats only some of Ford section.
I realise odd little mistakes will be made (e.g. they have end of production of Hillman/Rootes group Hunter as '76 but as we know it was '78) but it's as if all the pictures and info are jumbled around and don't correspond to the car in question.
Oh and there's no J-TIN that I can see ...certainly no Datsuns, Toyotas, Hino's, Mazdas etc..
Best of all it has a forword by the Great Sterling Moss, surely such a fine Man as he would never put his words to such inaccurate publication 'tripe'! ?
