Clue's in the title, really. Another, with different livery: ...and different spoiler: ...and bent: They were built for the 21 Turbo Europa Cup. Want to buy one? Click here. How does 356bhp grab you?

Crikey they look a bit good from the top down.
Friend of mine had one of these, they had great engines and ran quite of a bit of boost standard.

Been looking at those two 21 touring cars on Car and Classic www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C77449 for the past few months thinking about how much I need to win the lottery and use one of them on the road! Awesome machines.

My dad bought one quite a few years ago from Radbourne Racing. It used to be their tow car. Was told it was stock but the Devil exhaust spitting a few feet of flame on the overrun, the incredible acceleration and the fact we could hear him across town stopping for the newspapers on the way home from work said otherwise. It was white but after being half destroyed by an articulated truck, it was repainted yellow (a VW colour I believe). Appeared on fleabay last year or so.
F271 OCD.
Really went like stink...... My bro had a phase 2 in dark blue but sold when a company car arrived.

they are from the Superproduction series The 21 Turbo Europa Cup was a one make saloon series held between 1989-90 of the same level as the Megane Eurocup is today. The cars themselves were lookalikes of the 21 Turbo 4x4 'Quadra' works race cars that dominated the French Supertourisme Championship in the late 80s-early 90s, but built to a lesser spec (more of the base car left, lower-spec engines, FWD only). Renault still have a number of the cars from the series in their museum store, but a number of them did 'escape captivity' when the series ended (replaced in 1992 by the Clio Eurocup). The last 2 pictures pictures of damaged cars earlier in the thread were from when the Europa Cup series was one of the support races for the Le Mans race weekend in 1990. There was a huge accident off the start line involving a number of cars. including one which was t-boned and burst into flames. The driver was in a coma for a week afterwards, but survived.

Ah ok that probably makes sense due to the fact the Superproduction cars werestupidly quick and pretty darn expensive!!
