We all know BBS wheels etc are the coolest retro rims going but I've become more and more obsessed with wheel trims of late... Other than moondisc style trims are there any other 'retro' styles available? Please do't all shoot me down at once ;D

I used to collect hubcaps when i was a teenager, had some really nice ones, a few merc metal ones, one of those Mazda 626 ones, a few Montego ones, as well as some Alfa ones, loads of Fords but by far the worst for losing hubcaps was Vauxhall. You could build up a set of 4 the same in a few weeks just from picking up single ones!!

If you're short on space and/or can't be doing with having to buy a bazillion sets of tyres, wheel trims are your friend. I'm quite fond of the standard Polo trims. I've got a set in the garage waiting for me to repaint them black with red or gold detailing.

I've always liked the early Citroen BX wheeltrims.
