with the neighbour out of the house and the sun shining i decided to get a move on ,
firstly a trial fit of the alley cats to get a rough idea how to get a nice stance from the capri,
lovely.
then out came the drill and trusty grinder to start removing panels , and hopefully not end up a mess on the floor crying clutching the rmains of brown crusty steel.
wing off, and thankfully plenty of ziebart and waxoil has preserved all the spots prone to rotting bit of surface rust in places but i can live with that ...phew ;D
front panel off (forgot to take pics as it was like 60 spot welds to drill out and i was knackered) quick mock up before i start fitting up.
got the panel gaps pretty good considering the fit of these fibreglass panels bottom of the wings need trimming as they're trimmed a bit curse word tbh.
bonnet gap fitting nice
all fitted up , will have to drill out the rivets for the front panel and move it back a touch as it doesnt quite sit flush with the wing
will remove the o/s wing when i get a chance and finish up attaching the panels .
