Are they the same base a a MA61 Supra Celica from the same year (suspension rear axel etc??) This one is an AUTO with a 2L (21R) engine. ANY INFO RE THIS car would help alot like what fits from other Toyotas and rareness of parts etc. ANYTHING! heres a few pics of the car Cheers Adam

The Celica in that shape isn't quiiiiiiiiiiite the same as the Supra, the Supra only came as a hatch and also comes with IRS and the bigger M-series engines, the Celica on the other hand came in both hatch and notchback like that one is and is live axle, not independant, the wheezey little 21R is quite .. well.. useless for want of a better word.

I love the 'TRON' styling of those ones. Bonkers.

Well, even with the 21R in there, they still run a W-series box, so you would need a W->M series bellhousing but I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to fit an M-series in there. Brakes and Struts and the like I'm unsure about, the Supra runs 4wheel vented disc with IRS whereas the Celica is drum rear end and I think solid front (though possibly vented front). Again, a direct front suspension setup may swap but I couldn't tell you wit any certainty.
I was going to put my brother's spare 5M into an RA60 (same as that except hatch type) but never bothered after I managed to sell the W57 in it for more than I got that car for (which was nothing) once it was without a gearbox I didn't see the point in spending any more time on it so it's an abandoned project. Your best bet would be to try celicasupra.com I would hazard a guess that if anyone knew, it would be them.

No worries. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
It's quite possible SnoozinEuro knows some specifics about this kind of thing as he is a lot more knowledgable with Toyota's than I am, however. He will no doubt be in bed now, being it's half twelve AM though I imagine he will be one tomorrow. Perhaps send him a PM.

Oh, just realised it was auto, which means it won't have a W-series box in it, it will be something else. Not sure on Autos, so if you were converting to M-series then you'd be safer to grab the trans that came with the engine unless the auto has a removable bellhousing. Whether it does or not, I have no idea.
If it's any help and you do end up getting it and can't find a pedal setup, I could grab the one off the RA60 and send that over to you, it would be a little pricey no doubt, but it would only cost you P&P as the car is earmarked for destruction now.

well to be honest I am 50/50 on getting it, not for the price or anything but becasue I am already in swing with my current Toyota Corolla Ke70 Project etc, and I cant really afford to spend money to finish that (putting in AE86 running gear and a ITB 4age) and my plan for the Celica was keep it std, slam it and add a set of 15x9 SSR Mesh rims and roll the arches out. prob just a daydream but I don't know much about them only a bit about the MA61. cheers Adam
