Its an awesome bit of kit for sure. I'd love it, it could be a cheap way into a quick, and unusual car with added V8 goodness. Some snaps from the Leeds meet...

I think its 'just' a stock lump. Either 3.5 or 3.9. Still going to be a laugh though i'd have thought.

Its an odd one because its been built out of such a catagorically unloved car everyone seemed to walk past it when I was taking pics. People just assume its a tarted up 214.
Aren't the wheels centrelines, or weld wheels?

Speaking as a current R8 200 owner, I'd buy that, stick a 5.0 TVR lump in and go hot hatch hunting, just to see the look on their faces when the nodding dog on my parcel shelf gets smaller and smaller in front of them... Every dog has it's day.

Aren't the wheels centrelines, or weld wheels? Image wheels , very expensive too, about £250 each last time i checked. Agree on the awesomeness, if it was mine i'd loose the exhausts and bonnet vents and it'd gain a tartan car blanket across the rear shelf and maybe some other O.A.P tat ;D

That awesome, and the price is pretty good too. Would love to rock that around, although I'd probably want to manualise it
