Hi, if all goes to plan i should be collecting a Mk1 Caddy on Sunday (for free ;D) which seems to have avoided all types of general maintanace for the past 4 years but it does still have a current MOT.
I've been told that the main problem with it is the auto choke (1.6 petrol engine) is stuck shut so the fuel consumption is horrendous and so is the hot running. Is this a relatively easy fix or would it be better to cobble together some sort of manual cable?
