Well, standing idly in the chippy waiting for my two cod and chips, I noticed a plain A4 poster advertising a local fund-raiser car show. Being only in Eggington and free on that day I figured I could run out STM for a little bit and at least use her So, pootling along to see what turned up, I was instantly knocked flat! I was only expecting about 20 cars, if that. Instead? About 100 cars, a load of agricultural and industrial stuff and some military vehicles too! Lots of real expensive kit, too. Wasn't complaining! There was also the usual assortment of random stands, activities and confectionary. Lovely burger van too www.antchip.com/carshows/chapt/Liked this big ol' "Blue Shark" D-Team Bedford van!!!11one! Very, very nice! Classic? Intriguing! Nice nick, either way Superclean E30. Was all over this one! Leather, too! ;D Mmm, Capri! Bargain? When new! Tractors! The little ones didn't half move fast! Roofrack? Check. Matt paint? Check. Running boards? Check. Sprayed on logo? Well, almost ;D Sooperlow '6 Enough said! Only needs a Zetec and a turbo and "Rapid response!" Added Nice P1800. Lush interior on the '49. Real nice. Nice Lotus. Made a good noise Hnnng! How cool! Got all of 'em in super-fine res if you want bigger versions for whatever Tara!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Yea! I mean, they're not road car fast but I came out behind one of them at a junction and it just whipped up really fast! ;D (soon overtook it though!) Kudos to having such a cool little machine ;D Only thing that bothered me bout those tractors was they were very, very clean

Nice pics, Lewis...
But I must say the OLD GIFFER who owns that e30 seriously PISSES ME OFF. He goes to all the local herts & beds shows (and always turns up waay before me).
I swear he takes notes on my car.
I got Alpina wheels. So did he.
I smoked out the lights. So did he.
Then I noticed he'd got a rear disc conversion over last winter. Butt munch.
Still, it's a 320, which is slower and poo-ier at handling than mine. And his leather seats are not the KWAL recaro type like I have.
I'll be interested to see if he apes the last few 'mods' I have to do to the beemer. 2 are comsetic and one is some engineering.... Eat that MOFO (and I'm not afraid to give mine beans either, pensioner boy!!!)

He uses your car for inspiration.. is that such a bad thing? You could take it as a compliment of your style.

Ha ha - do I sense some anamosity [Sp?] there Mr Pog ;D Fitting Alpina wheels & smoked lights is hardly the most original modifications to make to your E30 BM - theres a metallic grey one round the corner from here at work, with these exact mods - tis abit like fitting BBS rims to a MK2 Golf - & the reason being is that they look flippin ace

Haha Mr Pog! It did strike me that it looked very similar Still, no replacement for displacement! <edit> This is a mistake thought you had a 325 for some reason (I know it's not the case!) 318iS = infinitely superior to the 320 ;D

Still, no replacement for displacement! Not necessarily - Mr Pog's BMW is a 318is which is widely regarded as being the better car over the six cylinder 320i like the one pictured above - since it has a very similar power output yet because it is a lighter engine makes the handling on the four cylinder car more lively...... the 6 pot cars do sound nice though

Dammit! That's what I meant to say! Had a brain fart and somehow thought he had a 325i........318is is sooo much better than the 320 ;D
