Hi Retrorides folk
I am new to this site/forum and out of all the sites in which I am involved throughout the world, this so far is absolutely the best!
Having raced for over 40 years and owned a huge number of cars, I now own three Alpine-Renault A310 V6's. My experiences over the years would fill several books and, although I have no intention of boring anyone silly, I am happy to share information, assistance (via the forum as I now live in Germany and France) and anything else I can offer as help.
I raced Fords mainly since the 1970's and can also share pics of these cars. For now, here are a few pics of my current cars.

This is my 1982 Alpine A310, photographed at a farm in France during a touring holiday in 2001. The car is prepared for sprints and hillclimbs. It is the car that appears below after bodywork and painting in Renault Kangoo metallic green.

The car above is my 1977 A310 that I have prepared as a replica of the A310 that raced at Le Mans in 1977 to celebrate the attempt at running in the famous 24 hours. Here I am competing at a circuit in France, fending off a 2-litre Twingo!
The blue car is my 1979 A310 that was owned by the DeLorean Motor Company where it was used to develop the DeLorean V6 engine as the A310 was the only car with the PRV V6 engine mounted in the rear like a Porsche 911. Without this actual car, there would have been no DeLorean. Here I am competing in a sprint at Curborough near Lichfield.
WOW at a sprint in the UK (around 2001). by a310man16, on Flickr
Let me know what you think, and if you'd like to see more, just ask.
